Figures are dated observations, not offers

Every peso figure on this site carries the source it came from and the date it was read. Prices move by brand, by region, and by week. A figure here is what a named source published on a given date, not a quote, not an offer, and not a promise of what you will pay or be paid. The price your dealer or buyer gives you on the day is the one that decides.

Wrong figures are corrected in place

When a figure turns out to be wrong, it is retracted in place and marked, not quietly deleted, so the record of the correction stays visible. This is the same provenance discipline stated in the site footer.
