These terms govern your use of Manoknomics, and by using the site you accept them. They are written to be fair and to state plainly what you may do with the content, what the content is and is not, and the limits of responsibility to the fullest extent Philippine law allows.

The content and who owns it

The articles, commentary, calculators, drawings, and page design on this site are the original work of Manoknomics and are protected by copyright. The price data published under the data and presyo sections is offered separately under an open licence, described below.

What you may do with it

You may read the articles, link to them, quote them briefly with attribution, and share them for personal, non-commercial use. Republishing an article in whole, or using it commercially, needs written permission first, asked through the contact page.

The price datasets are different. They are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, so you may use them, including commercially, as long as you credit Manoknomics and link back. Each download page carries a ready-made attribution line.

Third-party images

Some photographs on this site are licensed from third parties, and Manoknomics cannot sub-license them. Each one records its source and licence in the page credit line. Those images are covered by their own licences, not by the open licence above and not by any permission the operator can give, so check the stated licence before you reuse a photograph.

Information, not advice, and no warranty

Everything here is general information about backyard poultry keeping in the Philippines. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. There is no guarantee that it is accurate, current, complete, or fit for your particular situation, and no guarantee that the site is always available or free of error. Peso figures are dated observations from named sources, not offers, quotes, or guarantees of a price you will be given.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Manoknomics and its author are not liable for any loss or damage — to your flock, your business, your finances, or otherwise — arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything on this site. Decisions you make from the content are your own. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site unlawfully, do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it, and do not scrape or republish it in a way that misrepresents its source or breaches these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site is subject to the courts of the Philippines.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date below marks the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
