Privacy Policy
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no login, no newsletter, and no form. The short version is that the site itself collects nothing about you. This page explains that in full, names what its host processes in order to deliver the site, and sets out your rights under Republic Act 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Who is responsible for this site
Manoknomics is an independent Philippine poultry information site, published under a pen name. The person who operates it is the controller of any personal data described here. For any privacy matter you can reach the controller through the contact page. The author writing under the byline is pseudonymous; the controller behind the site is a real, reachable person for the purposes of the Data Privacy Act.
What the site collects: effectively nothing
The site is served as static files. It does none of the following:
- it sets no cookies of any kind, first-party or third-party;
- it runs no analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or session recording;
- it loads no third-party JavaScript, fonts, or images, so nothing on the page calls out to another company as you read;
- it operates no form, comment box, account, login, or newsletter;
- it never asks for, receives, or stores your name, email, or payment details.
The calculators run entirely in your browser. They work out an answer from what you type and send nothing anywhere; nothing you enter leaves your device.
What the host processes
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare logs standard request metadata at its edge — your IP address, the page requested, your browser user-agent, and the time — in order to deliver pages to you and to protect the site from attack and abuse. Cloudflare does this as a processor acting for the site; the site itself neither reads nor stores these logs. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in the security and delivery of the site. Cloudflare describes its own handling in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you write to the site (the address is on the contact page), that message reaches the operator, along with your email address and whatever you choose to put in it. It is used only to reply to you and to keep a record of corrections to the site. It is kept only as long as needed for that, is never used for marketing, and is never shared.
Cookies and consent
This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking, so there is nothing to consent to and no consent banner is shown. If that ever changes, this page is updated first, with a new effective date, and the appropriate consent mechanism is put in place before any tracking begins.
Your rights under the Data Privacy Act
Under RA 10173 you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked, to object to its processing, to data portability, to be indemnified for damage, and to complain. Because the site holds no store of personal data about you, most of these have nothing to act on here. For anything you have already sent, or to raise any concern, use the contact page and the operator will respond. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Retention
The site maintains no database and no personal-data store. The only personal data the operator holds is email you have sent, which is kept only as long as needed to respond and to record any correction, then deleted.
For visitors in the EU, EEA, or UK
The same minimal picture applies to you. The security and delivery logs described above are processed on the legitimate-interest basis recognised under the GDPR, and you have the same rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection through the same contact address.
Changes to this policy
If the data practices of this site ever change — for example, if analytics are added after the first year — this page is amended and re-dated before the change takes effect. The date below is the version you are reading.
Effective August 30, 2026.
