The national flock by holding size
PSA splits every quarterly chicken count three ways by the size of the flock it was standing in: 500 birds or fewer, 501 to 10,000, and 10,001 or more.
What this figure is not
Not a count of farms or of keepers, and not a measure of output. It is birds alive on one morning, sorted by how big the flock around them was.
Why these are read together
The three add up to the national total, so each one is a share and a share is only readable beside the others. The question this page answers is what proportion of Philippine chickens are in backyards, and no single one of these three lines can answer it alone.

A blank period means the source published no figure for it. It is not a zero and it is not carried forward from the month before.
